A few people left comments on my blog reguarding the female minn cop. They argued things like...do i really think she really intended to murder the black motorist and cause a race riot Do you think dereck chauve meant to kill george floyd and start a race riot? Funny if we put a male cop in her place we automatically assume the worst..the male cop would be labled a racist and thrown off the force. My point is her negligence to her training lead to this man's death.. Let me use another example..the police are trained for high pursuit chases. Say she is getting jazzed up while chasing after a car jacker at a high rate of speed. She decides she is gonna do a pit maneuver ( which requires special training,specially equipped car and yes permission to do it). She hit the car..spins it out and it plows into a family. Are we gonna throw our hands up and say..their bad..it was an accident. That car jacker was a crip and he was at fault for all of this.. The female cop failed with her training/ lack of training in the use of the taser...her own captain admitted they purposefully keep the glock on the right and the taser on the left..to advoid this mixup There is no mistaking the two weapons.. And a stressful situation is no excuse...it's not an accident... You all are the same people that demand criminal charges be brought up against parents for letting kids get access to their firearms... Isnt this the same..it's clear negligence on her part that lead to a death. It shouldnt be swept under the rug and called an " accident " by the police chief based soley on the female cops reaction afterwards.. Finally i dont care if it'sba glock or taser she grabbed..she is trained not to wave it around like that in front of two cop and a suspect.. Fuck she didnt even aim..she shot...then dummy was surprised...duhh she shot him

I also think the reaction would be quite different if it had been a white guy getting shot. No need to even make it a black officer for that.

My point is simple..its not an accident.. it's criminal neglect. She needs to be chargef So please stop sugar coating it and saying shit happens and it's tough to be a cop

To "MISTAKE" a taser weapon from a service pistol takes some believing! Both weapons are very different in feel, weight, use and COLOUR! IF this WAS a mistake it reflects really badly on the training regime AND the individuals ability to SERVE AND PROTECT.

Simply sad, no matter the skin colour, she should have realized gun/taser "feel " different in ones hands but still a life lost like that should not be just classified as an accident...clearly room for improvement and one must be help accountable.
